A short film about spring in the Wye Valley.
In which we wax lyrical about the arrival of spring in the wonderful Wye Valley.
It’s spring in the Wye Valley and things are starting to grow. We’ve had a cold damp start to this year with torrential rains and gale force winds and yet, beneath all that tumultuous weather, is a steadily increasing amount of greenery.
The daffodils have exploded in force, and buds tentatively open, letting the world know that spring is here, honest!
But it’s not just the greenery that is starting to show itself, bees and other insects have started to drag themselves out of hibernation to see what the world is doing.
There are newborn lambs running around, and fields that need plowing and seeding.
Even the people of the Wye Valley are beginning to venture outside once more as the Sun begins to slowly warm the earth
Spring is the herald of hope and new life, and for many it brings a fresh start. No other season offers a sense of hope for the rest of the year quite like spring does.
